Dear Hill Community, It is Office Staff and Childcare Worker Appreciation Week at Hill! Thank you to Erica, Jessie, Krishna, Linda, and Teresa for the support they give our entire community daily. Thank you to Betty, Christine, Lucy, and Sherice for the support they give us in the lunchroom and at our 3rd Base Program.

Dear Hill Community, It is Assistant Principal and Library Appreciation Week at Hill! Thank you to Ellana Selig and Nancy Martinez for their leadership on our campus. Thank you to Jennifer Moore and Terri Kogel-Banda for creating a love of reading at Hill School. Please note there is a lot of information regarding other items this week and beyond. We have a short week this week but a busy one! As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow (Monday), March 31st. It is a student and staff holiday. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday.

We are a week away from spring break! Our annual Sports Days are this Tuesday and Wednesday. Please also note that this Friday (3/14) is a student holiday and staff professional learning exchange day. There is no school on Friday. Thank you for having a plan for your student. And be sure to participate in our No Place for Hate Dress-Up Day this Thursday (3/13) for “Kindness is Groovy”. Think Peace, Love, and Disco!

Dear Hill Community, The last day of school is this Thursday! If you have not yet done so, please ensure you turn in your device and/or library books tomorrow to your teacher as the deadline is passed if it is applicable to you. We will have periodic emails over the summer, but this will be our last scheduled weekly communication for now (which is why it is a bit longer). Dear Hill Community, Happy Mother’s Day to all celebrating! Parenting is a challenge, but there is no more important job. We appreciate you all and hope you have a restful day. We have 9 days of school left! We will continue to update you on end of school events as well as what to expect over the summer in our final two letters of the year in the coming weeks.

Dear Hill Community, We move into the busy month of May this week! On Friday, our students participating will perform our annual Hill Musical for our school and then families at night. We are proud of them and thankful to our music teachers who have readied them for this fun event.

Dear Hill Community, This week we celebrate Office Staff Appreciation Week. Thank you to Erica Martindale, Jessie Rupert, Krishna Springer, Linda Glass, and Teresa Carroll for keeping our school running each day. They are an incredible group we are lucky to have! It is also Volunteer Appreciation Week. At Hill School, this group is too big to list! Whether you volunteer weekly on campus, support planning of our big events, lead our PTA, or help in numerous other ways, know that we appreciate you. Our supportive community is what makes this a special place for our Dillos!

Dear Hill Community, STAAR testing begins tomorrow for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. We are so proud of the hard work our students have put in. We can’t thank our teachers enough for all the preparation they have done this year and in years prior to ready them.
