NEW DATE! Making Sense of Our Senses – December 8th

5th Grade Merchandise Pickup

Swing by the yellow brick wall to pickup your 5th grade merchandise this week!  We will be distributing orders this Thursday (12/1) before and after school, and Friday (12/2) morning.  Thank you again for your support!

Carnival Rescheduled!

Tomorrow’s forecast does not look favorable for Carnival. Keeping the safety of our students and volunteers in mind we have decided to postpone Carnival. Please save the date for March 31, 2023. We are looking forward to all the food trucks, the famous 5th grade Haunted House, and all the games and rides. If you have already picked up your wristbands, please keep them somewhere safe until then.

A Letter from the Principal - November Bond

We hope you enjoy the extra hour of your day as we “fall back.” As a reminder, there is no school on Tuesday! Staff will be completing professional learning on Tuesday. We look forward to our Veterans Day assembly this Thursday morning which is an annual tradition. We thank all of the veterans in our community for their service and sacrifice. Our annual Hill Carnival event is this Friday from 5:30-7:30! Below this letter, please see all the information you need to have a fun time Friday, including a link to purchase your wristbands. We hope to see our entire community there.

Hill Elementary is proud to be a No Place for Hate campus. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) provides curriculum we use to maintain our No Place for Hate status. This year we are talking about identity, or who we are. We have adapted the ADL’s “Identity: What We Can See and Not See” lesson to fit our school needs and for developmental appropriateness

Bus Driver and Crossing Guard Appreciation Week

This week is Bus Driver AND Crossing Guard Appreciation Week! These special friends show up for our kids in the scorching heat, pouring rain, and downright cold every day. They will love receiving handmade cards and crafts from their Dillos.
