Dear Hill Community,

Thank you to all of our volunteers who made our Hill Hoopla fundraiser a huge success on Friday! This is a huge undertaking and this amazing community makes it possible. We also want to acknowledge the Hill Elementary Dillos team members from our community that ran in the Cap10K today! We have another exciting event tomorrow with the Total Eclipse taking place. Please refer to the Eclipse Letter sent on 4/2 for the information you need for tomorrow.

There is no school this Wednesday, April 10th. This is a student holiday and staff development day. We will see everyone back on campus for Thursday.

Kindergarten-4th Grade Families: It is that time of year for our parents/guardians to fill out a Student Information Form to help provide input as we begin to discuss classroom placements for the next school year with our staff. We value your feedback and intimate knowledge of your student(s) both academically and emotionally. As always, we request you not make specific teacher requests as many factors go into these decisions. Please complete the linked Google Form by this Friday, April 12th if you are interested. 

The Austin ISD Panorama Parent Survey closes this Friday. Please provide your feedback on what we are doing well and where we can grow! We want the best picture of our community possible. You can click here to complete the survey by April 12th. 

Mark Your Calendar Incoming Pre-K4 and Kindergarten Parents: We look forward to seeing everyone who can make it to our annual Roundup event at Hill School on Wednesday, April 17th at 9:00 am in our cafeteria space. All incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten parents, along with their students, can learn more about our school and teachers. We will take care of registration documents as well that may be needed. Your students will visit a Pre-K or Kindergarten class for fun activities. Please spread the word to friends who may be interested in joining our Hill community! 

Austin ISD will host an Enroll Austin Pre-K Registration Clinic for families at AISD Central Office (4000 S. I-H 35 Frontage Rd, Austin, 78704) in the Board Auditorium on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 8:30am - 12:00pm.

• Families will receive one-on-one support with the new registration process.

• Representatives from the Departments of Enrollment and Attendance, Early Learning, and Communication and Community Engagement will be on-site to support families.

• Here is a List of Documents for Pre-K Registration that families are encouraged to bring to the clinic to complete registration on site.

• Families will learn more about Pre-K in Austin ISD.
