Dear Hill Community,

It is Elementary Conference Week. We wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow (Monday, October 12th) is a student holiday and Elementary Parent/Guardian Conference Day. There is no school. Conferences may take place outside of this day as well.

The annual Hill Sock Hop is this Friday, October 16th: Get ready to rock 'n' roll at Hill Elementary’s annual Sock Hop on October 16 from 5:30pm–7:30pm! Twist on over to the school playground as we transform it into a nifty 1950s hangout. This event is completely free, brought to you by your Hill Elementary PTA. Catch the hula hoop contest, tap your feet to the Dillo Singers, and hit up the soda shop (5th grade fundraiser!). Wally’s must be pre-purchased by tomorrow, October 12th. Only Kona Ice and the Soda Shop supporting the Hill 5th Grade will be available for purchase during the event. You can place orders on the Hill Marketplace.

It is Bus Driver and Crossing Guard Appreciation Week! Make sure you let our crews know how much they mean and are an important part of our community this week.

The Anderson Homecoming Parade is tomorrow (Monday), October 12th at 6:00 pm. Come see the floats celebrating AHS and our vertical team. Hill will be represented with two different floats. You can see the map of the parade route and where you can view here.

The Anderson High School PTSA is inviting Hill parents/guardians and our community to an Austin ISD Board Trustee Candidate Forum to learn more from AISD Board Trustee Candidates on October 25th. You can RSVP and submit questions here.

You can still order Fall Pictures from Strawbridge! Click here to see how to order. Make-Up Day is October 28th.

We will see our Dillos back on Tuesday!
