Dear Hill Community,
It is Teacher Appreciation Week! We should never take for granted the talent and care our teachers bring to school each day at Hill Elementary. Here are some suggestions on ways you can celebrate your teacher(s) this week if you are interested in participating from PTA (some of these will be coordinated through the homeroom parents)

Monday: Bring Flowers for your Teacher

Tuesday: Cards & Coffee- children can make a card or note for their teacher (and don’t forget about any assistants and your PE/ART/Music) and A Parent brings coffee or special drink for the teacher

Wednesday: PTA provides a Luncheon for the teachers and students wear their teacher’s favorite color (you can find that under teacher favorites here)

Thursday: A parent can bring lunch for their teacher(s). Families can bring teachers treats.

Friday: PTA Provides Donuts and Coffee in the teachers lounge and class gives teacher a gift
From Hill PTA: Our online school supply store is officially open for the 2024-2025 school year. Skip the trip to the store and get your teacher requested supplies delivered directly to the classroom. Hill is in need of several new members to join our Campus Advisory Council this upcoming fall. In working with this group, you have the opportunity to support our school in many ways, from campus safety to campus priorities. This is a two year commitment but such an important part of our community that helps guide our decision-making throughout the year. You can click here for the application. The rescheduled Dillo Dash Color Run will now be Friday, May 17th at 4:00 pm. We hope to see you there!
