Mr. Stephen Williams

Art Teacher

Mr. Stephen Williams enthusiastically begins his sixth year teaching at Hill this year. Before coming to Hill, he taught art and many other subjects as a guest teacher at many wonderful schools throughout Austin ISD. Previous to teaching, Mr. Williams  worked in several art related fields including metalwork, sculpture, photography and design. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from the University of Texas at Austin. He also studied Architectural Design and Visual Communication while in the UT School of Architecture. Mr. Williams teaches all of the Kindergarteners, most of the First and Second graders, plus some of the Third graders. He had the opportunity to experience art at a young age by growing up in a creative and artistic family and hopes to give his students the same opportunity. He celebrated his fourth anniversary with his wife Frances this summer on July 4. They share a great love for nature and like to hike and enjoy the outdoors, recently adopting a new puppy.
